Seagull Proofing, Worthing, West Sussex
This housing association had been plagued through the summer months with seagulls and their chicks nesting on the flat roof of their retirement home. We have attached below a photo of the affected area with the seagull guano etc on the flat roof. Our task was to wait till the end of the breeding season and to allow the chicks to leave the area, we then cleaned the roof using a specially designed bird guano removal spray. The netting consisted of a 75mm seagull UV net horizontally above the flat roof and 50mm pigeon net vertically down all sides. Support wires were used to support the weight of the net.
