Pneubird Installation in Crawley, West Sussex
The below photos shows a successful installation of a pneumatic bird flapper installed on a roof of a busy pub in the old town area of Crawley. The system was installed with a combination of 8mm and 4mm air tubes connected a 24 ltr air compressor and several small flapper devices. On pigeon landing within the target zone carefully placed sensors trigger a small valve within the main computer which then creates a signal to operate the flappers.
The system was installed as an alternative to less discreet styles of proofing - in particular netting. The system when installed in the correct manor can be both effective and discreet and an ideal solution where planning permission might otherwise be required. The front boxes visible from the front was painted in Tile Red whilst the plastic tubing is left to slowly blend into the background. This nationwide customer was extremely happy with this installation and results of this product.
