Pigeon Net, Royal Militay Police, Nr Victoria, London
The below net was installed over an air conditioning machine which had been plagued with an infestation of feral pigeons - extremely dangerous considering the number of diseases carried - the net was installed with a combination of galvanised fixings and a 50mm 1m zip was installed vertically down and horizontally across to allow access for technicians etc. Spikes were used on all pipe work to prevent roosting and potential displacement.
